Surgery Today

Well after a few delays in getting the surgery done, a few days of fasting for Mom, and after much anticipation...She is now in surgery. Mom had a CT scan on her body and has no other tumors that they could see. This is good news, however, we still have to wait to see if the tumor is cancerous. I just went in to see her~She has a new Hairdo! She has half her head shaved. The Grandkids will just love her new do she said!
They found where the tumor was located and are going in today to take it out. She then will be in ICU for a few days until she is stable and then she will be moved to the Neurology wing and stay there until they release her. All the timelines depend on her contined health. She is still very positive~She will be needing her rest after surgery to recooperate and heal. We appreciate again all the love and support we have received through this trial. We will know more once she is out of surgery and in ICU. Updates will come tomorrow or maybe sooner if she comes sprinting out of there (Knowing Mom this might happen!) Please keep her in your thoughts and Prayers! Mom knows she is in good hands...The Surgeon's and the Lord's!

She enjoys reading her messages and is grateful for the LOVE and support!

  1. Marianne,
You are a strong women. I wonder how long you had this brain tumor and still have been able to go full steam ahead and do everything you have done in the past few weeks, months, and year. Hang in there! We're here to help with whatever you need at your house or with whatever you and your family need. You have lots of support in the community. You have touched so many lives that everyone is asking how you are and wants to help. So let us help and use all your time and energy in getting better. Praying for you and sending our love,
    Fred and Kathy Uchman

What a shock to hear the news. Thinking of you all and keep fighting Marianne. We enjoyed our get together in Berlin last year and look forward to another soon.
