Post-Surgery

Mom went through surgery well. She was awake about a half hour after and she was able to talk to us! She is speaking in English as well as German. She is quite tired and the doctors and nurses have said that she needs rest and little interruptions to help her brain to heal.

The Doctor said he got the tumor out and we will be awaiting the results of it shortly. We will know more as Mom rests and recooperates from surgery.

She will be in the ICU for a time while she rests and heals. We are asking that for Mom's health that she have no visitors at this time. She appreciates all the love and support.

  1. Marianne,

I am glad they were able to get the tumor out. I hope the news of the type of tumor is positive and that you will be able to return to your full health and life as soon as possible. We miss your radiant personality at the temple.

  2. Dear Sister Anderson,

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your nurses are kind. Whoever they are, they are blessed to have you as a patient. If my husband had patients like you every day, he would come home with a smile every night! Thanks for being such an important part of my life. I wish you a speedy recovery!

  7. Dear Marianne,
I am so grateful to know that surgery went well. My family and I have been praying for you and your family, as well as your surgeon. We all love you so much and cannot wait to see your smiling face again! You are and have been such an inspiration to me. I have never known anybody who is so giving and charitable to others. I know that as you follow the instructions of your doctors and caregivers that you will heal quickly and be on about the business at hand.
Thank you for all of your love and count this as a special kinder-egg from me(with loving heart inside)!
    Love, Jane
