She's Home!

Mom came home on Easter Saturday and spent Easter with her family! She is feeling better, trying to rest and recooperate. The tumor they removed was cancerous. She will be starting chemotherapy and radiation in a few weeks. She is happy to be home! Thank you all for your prayers and support, she is so grateful to be surrounded by so much love. We will update the blog when we have more to tell.

  1. So happy to know she is home. Hope she can get the rest that she needs and that she will let others do for her now. Glad she has so many wonderful and loving children and friends around to help her.

  2. Dear Marianne,
We are still praying for you and loving you more than you know. I know that it is hard for you to be the one being tended, but you need to let others show their love and obtain the blessings by being allowed to tend you! Keep mending so you can be back to doing what you love to do!!

  3. Mommy A.
I'm so glad to hear that you're home. There's no place like home when you're not feeling so great. I just hope you are able to get the rest you need. I know how tempting it is to just do this "little thing or that little thing" when you're home. PLEASE rest--you need it. Who is taking care of you at home? I hope they are doing a good job because you definately deserve the BEST care possible. I come home from work and one of the first things I do is check your web page. This is a GREAT idea.
    Love you,
    Diane

  5. Marianne,

I just heard about your surgery today. Thank goodness for Alicia Davis! I'm so grateful that you have come through the surgery well. Hang in there. Chemotherapy and radiation are not pleasant, I'm sure you know. But you can do it! You have such a great spirit about you. We love you and will keep you in our prayers. I'm so glad you could spend Easter with your family. All our love, Mark and Carrie Dietz

  7. Marianne-

You get better and hang in there. You need to stick around and be healthy. I want some more of your famous rolls!!!

Richard was a great man, but you have all of ETERNITY to spend with him so there's NO RUSH. He's just going to have to wait 20 more years while we enjoy you. :-)
